Stockman Sports programs are focused on engaging young people from remote, rural and regional Australia to progress their athletic and personal development in a character building environment.
The Stockman Sports foundation connects Australian sporting personalities from a variety of sports with remote, rural and regional Australian community teams, schools and clubs. The purpose is to engage, inform and upskill youth and is conducted with the support of local councils, schools, clubs and community groups. With a focus on sport, issues such as mental health and well-being, substance abuse, personal development and athletic development are addressed during the clinic.
This program looks to identify remote, rural and regional talent and elevate it to achieve in the young person’s chosen sport.
Social Media Platform
Promoting good sport and through sport discussing the topical issues the Stockman Program aims to address. The platforms will also include interviews with up-and-coming athletes from remote, rural and regional sports and Australian sporting personalities.
The Flagship initiative of The Stockman Sports Foundation, Stockman Rugby continues to tour both nationally and internationally with the support of Australian rugby union legends. With an aim to address the key issues young people face in the country and invest in their personal and athletic development this program has already positively impacted country individuals and communities.
