Stockman Sports are privileged to have Australian Rugby Legend and former Wallaby Captain Chris Roche as our inaugural Patron. Chris is a board of management member of Little Windmills: The Country Kids Charity and is passionate about safeguarding and developing young people from country Australia.

Born a farmers son in Clifton, Queensland, Chris has a heart for the bush. He debuted for the Wallabies in 1982 and played 48 matches including 17 Tests. Chris he had the honour of captaining Australia in two tour matches. Post career, Chris became an accomplished rugby union coach, coaching first grade rugby in Brisbane, the Australian under 19’s and under 20’s rugby union teams before becoming the initial coach of the Ballymore Tornadoes in 2007.
Chris is an accomplished solicitor, family man and sports enthusiast. He has dedicated his spare time to a variety of charitable causes and sporting teams. He believes in Australia’s future champions in remote rural and regional area’s and the power of sport to reach the next generation.
